The
Big Island of Hawaii offers spectacular
snorkeling. The most famous spots are
at Captain Cooks Monument and The Place of
Refuge, south of Kona. Our own
'Anaeho'omalu Bay or A-Bay beach here at

coral reef with abundant tropical fish of
all colors and sizes. Enter at the
sandy shore just to the right of the rocks
that jut out and to the left of the boats.
In just a few strokes, you will come to the
reef. I saw the the most amazing
turtle swim by so gracefully as it banked
around the reef and came up for air.
Early morning is a great time to go as the
sunlight shines so beautifully illuminating
the shallow reef.
